Village Hidden by Mist - Land of Water

Full-sized Image
Ninja Services and Administration
1. Mizukage Spire- The headquarters of the Mizukage, their office and any other administrative offices are housed here, including mission distribution and report reception. The structure is well fortified and guarded against external (and internal) attacks.
2. Archives- This building houses the archival history and mission information for the village and its ninja, including resources about enemy ninja past and present, the history of the various Kiri uprisings, and highly classified information on the kekkei genkai of those in the village.
3. Library- Focused on primarily ninja-related research, there are both open access and restricted areas.
4. Intelligence Department- Intel is closely guarded and no one may enter this building without the proper clearance. Somewhere within this building is also the home of the Cypher Division, Kiri's secret intelligence squad, but very few know anything about it.
6. Aviary- The building houses birds used for carrying messages over long distances. They are primarily used for ninja-related purposes, but can be utilized by civilians as well.
7. Academy- This is the school where children are trained to be ninja. In the not-so-distant past, academy students were forced to kill each other in order to graduate. The practice was discontinued when the entire graduating class of students was massacred by (non-student) Momochi Zabuza.
10. Anbu/Hunter Nin Facility- The barracks, training fields, and administrative offices for ANBU and the Hunter Ninja (a unique division of ANBU tasked with hunting down Kiri's extensive list of missing-nin) are housed here.
Public Service Buildings
24. Hospital-
Recreation and Training
14. Hot Springs- Publicly accessible hot springs, perfect for a good soak.
15. Public Baths- Perfect for cleaning up after a long journey.
16. Stadium- When Kiri hosts a Chunin Exam, this is the stadium where combatants fight. When not in use for exams, other contests--often deadly--may be held here.
A-F. Public Training Areas- Open to ninja and civilians alike, these open fields have basic training posts and plenty of area in which to test your skills.
Shopping and Dining
13. Market District- Filled with grocers and food-stands with local food and imports, this is the place to find the makings for dinner.
18. Gambling Houses- A seedy part of town, this is where high-rollers come to gamble and ninja come to drink and spend their mission pay. Nearby is also the Red-Light District.
20. Restaurant Lane- An area known for its eateries.
23. Leisure District- Stroll through this district where shopping, entertainment, and restaurants are all found in one place.
Residential
5. Mizukage Mansion- Home of the Mizukage, this is a well-guarded and well-furnished residence that very few are permitted access to.
17. Guest Lodgings- When non-residents visit Kiri, this is where they stay. The area is well-guarded, but not for the benefit of the guests.
Clan Holdings and Compounds
8. Terumi Estate- Home of the Terumi family, notably Terumi Mei. The family possesses the kekkei genkai for Lava Release ninjutsu and Boil Release ninjutsu.
9. Milani Estate- Home of the Milani family; weapon makers and sellers, they pride themselves on having the best forges in the village.
11. Hoshigaki Compound- Family home of Hoshigaki Kisame, the "Monster of the Hidden Mist."
12. Hozuki Holdings- Lands held by the Hozuki Clan, whose specialty is the Hydrification Technique. This was the clan of the second Mizukage, Hozuki Gengetsu.
19. Yuki Compound- Known as the "cursed" Yuki Clan, who possess the Ice Release kekkei genkai, this family rarely ever manifests their talents anymore and seem to put out many civilians instead, though they're watched none the less.
21. Okumura Sector- Residences of the blue fire Okumura Clan, an offshoot of the Yuki Clan.
22. Kaguya Estate- Residence of the Kaguya Clan, whose skilled members have been in decline because of their high instances of turning on their handlers. There hasn't been a viable member of this clan in public in several years.
