Village Hidden by Rocks - Land of Earth

Full-sized Image
Full Village Information.
All buildings have a door on the roof for use in winter.
Ninja Services and Administration
1. Tsuchikage Building- A low building with several satellites attached, it's the center of the village, and where all shinobi go for their assignments.
2. Library- A two level building, above ground and underground, the Library keeps all fragile pieces below while the more durable things stay in village circulation.
13. Intelligence- This is where ciphers, spies, and the odd prisoner come to be.
17. Aviary- Equipped with bigger birds than the typical aviary, anyone can use them to send letters and packages.
20. Academy- This is one of the better spread out buildings in the village, but it's where the young are taught to ninja, so that just makes sense.
22. Archives- This is where all paperwork comes to live once it's no longer readily relevant.
30. ANBU Headquarters- ANBU are trained, sleep, and live in this building from the day they come in to the day they leave the force to the normal Shinobi forces.
Public Service Buildings
29. Hospital- Come get tended! They really don't' want to see you too often guys.
Recreation and Training
5. Hot Springs- In winter this place is practically overflowing with people, but it's not exactly slow in spring either.
6. Park- This park is a nice open area where people can look at the trees in summer, but in winter it turns into a place for an army of snowmen during the snow building competition.
11. Stadium- When the Chunin Exams come around, this is where the feats of skill get shown off.
12. Waypoint- This tower is a standing monument to the exams, and every year it's held, potentials are sent here before being led blindfolded into the mountains. They have to return to this tower to move on.
A-E. Training Areas- THese are varied areas for training open to everyone in the village.
F-G. Guest Training Areas- These are a pair of small training areas set aside for guests. Most other people don't bother with them unless there is absolutely nowhere else open.
Shopping and Dining
3. Cocoa Shop- A shop that sells more drinks than just its name, it's also incredibly well known for its range of cookies.
4. Fine Dined- This place's name is somewhat deceptive, because it's less fine dining and more simply excellent food. Hearty and filling is the goal here.
7. Ryou Filter- This place is known for drinking money... but then, it's a gambling hall so that's expected.
8. Winter Emporium- This store caters to the winter worries. Roof reinforcement, window covers, heavy coats, candles, and fire wood. This is the place to go for it all.
9. The Alehouse- Did someone say alcohol? This place has the best, with several locally brewed styles not found anywhere else in the elemental nations... and the food is good too.
18. Fine Forging- If you need weapons, this is the best place in town.
19. Rui's Gear- Weapon pouches, seal paper, mesh armor? This place has it all, and they will cover your ninja needs.
21. Sensei's Treat- If you need something sweet, this is a place to be. They have cakes, dango, and all manner of teas both hot and cold.
23. Cloth Catalyst- The fashionable place to get your clothes. And reasonable prices too.
24. Movie Theater- Come see a movie here! Even if they're sometimes a couple months late due to blizzard.
25. Mei's Books- This bookstore sells both used and new.
26. The Tradehouse- A unique feature, this building is a place where you can come with whatever goods you have, be it food, weapons, blankets, and trade it with anyone who will make a deal with you. No complaining. The management takes strong exception to people who try to go back on a deal without good reason.
27. Pretty Pets- The pet store of Iwa! Admittedly, it doubles as a place for nin-animals without a home, but what can you do?
28. Winsome Wonder- This music store sells both instruments and things to play recordings on, but the big attraction is the atrium out back where small concerts can be played.
Residential
10. Guest Housing- Of course foreign shinobi and dignitaries have a place to stay in this complex building of apartments.
16. Tsuchikage Mansion- The leader of the village has to live somewhere... and it might as well be in style.
Clan Holdings and Compounds
14. Kamizuru Fields- The only clan who regularly uses their clan name, this family has a corner and fields set aside to tend to their bees. Their property has greenhouses as well.
Miscellaneous
15. Winter Storehouses- Iwa is known for their hash winters, and these storehouses are loaded up with any food that can be preserved over the summer months.
