Land of Mountains

A mountainous land near the Land of Fire. Previously at war with the Land of Fire, they maintain a tenuous cease-fire since the destruction of their shinobi village.

Hidden Village - Kagerou Village

One of the few shinobi villages whose location was never hidden, and therefore was easily destroyed in the second war. Despite their open location, they were masters of stealth and traps, able on a personal basis to easily elude even the most advanced ANBU of other villages, and able to place traps only visible by use of the Byakugan. No survivors are currently known to exist...but it's possible one or two may simply be hidden.

Iwasaki

The primary village in the Land of Mountains since Kagerou Village was destroyed in the second war. The head of the Mountain's civilian government resides in Iwasaki, on a palace built to have a brilliant view of the distant shores of the Land of Mountains in three directions. It's easier to visit Iwasaki by sea than land.

Kannabi Bridge

A bridge between Waterfall and Mountains. It had great strategic value for Waterfalls and Iwa in the third war, serving as a primary supply line for the forces assaulting Fire.

Moria

The Last of the mountain Strongholds of the Dwarven clans, the land of Moria is perhaps the richest of them, known for their fine craftsmanship, this group is the source of more than one Legendary weapon in the Elemental Nations. The only access to this group of people is either cutting trough the Mountain Graveyard, or to circle through Waterfall and across the rivers to the west. Some have attempted to reach this area by the coast, but the rocky shores and steep cliffs make this inadvised.

Mountain's Graveyard

An intricate network of caves, sharp jutting mountains, and the bones of ancient, gigantic creatures from before the Sage of Six paths...or at least before the founding of the Shinobi Villages. Usually, the people of the Mountains prefer to indicate the former. It's easier to access the Mountain's Graveyard via the Land of Waterfalls than trekking through the uneven terrain of Mountains.
